SIT - Sensory Integration Therapy

 SIT is designed to assist children, who encounter difficulties in processing and reacting to sensory information. Various senses - touch, sound, movement, and sight; are stimulated to help the nervous system manage and interpret stimuli more efficiently. It is targeted at children with autism spectrum disorder or Sensory Processing Disorder. 

Speech Therapy

SIT - Sensory Integration Therapy

It focuses on improving communication skills - ability to understand and express language (verbal & non-verbal). ST's work with children to enhance clarity, fluency, articulation, voice quality, and social communication. They also address swallowing disorders and cognitive-communication impairments.

ABA - Applied Behavioral Analysis

It is a systematic intervention focused on enhancing specific behaviors, including social abilities, communication, academics, and reading. Positive reinforcement is a Key Aspect here. ABT is frequently implemented for children with developmental disorders, such as autism, supporting their progress toward greater independence and functionality in different settings. 

Group / Play Therapy

 Group Therapy & Play Therapy provide a sociable setting for children to enhance crucial skills such as communication, emotional management, and teamwork. While Play Therapy employs play to help children articulate their thoughts and feelings. It emphasizes on peer interaction, promoting collaboration and social ties. These therapies are particularly effective for children facing behavioral or developmental challenges. 

Tele-therapy

Teletherapy delivers therapeutic services through digital channels, enabling individuals to access care from remote locations. This approach is particularly advantageous for families in rural areas or during instances when in-person sessions are unfeasible. Teletherapy maintains continuity of treatment and allows therapists to offer support and interventions via video calls and other online resources.

Horticultural Therapy

It utilizes gardening and plant-related activities to support mental and physical wellness. It can be especially beneficial for individuals with disabilities, as interacting with plants can enhance fine motor skills, sensory experiences, and emotional well-being. This type of therapy fosters relaxation, a connection with nature, and a sense of achievement. 

ADL - Activities of Daily Living

  

Training in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) is aimed at teaching individuals’ fundamental self-care skills like dressing, feeding, toileting, and grooming. This training is vital for fostering independence, particularly in children or those with disabilities who experience difficulties with these tasks. Occupational therapists assist clients in developing the necessary competencies to successfully perform these daily activities.

Social Skill Development

Social skill development concentrates on teaching individuals’ appropriate interaction techniques. This includes aspects like making eye contact, taking turns, effective conversation skills, and recognizing social cues. Occupational therapists employ structured activities and role-playing to assist children with developmental delays or autism in building stronger relationships and navigating social contexts with assurance.

Handwriting Skills Training

It aims to improve a person’s fine motor skills & writing abilities. It's useful for kids with writing legibly, maintaining consistent letter formation, and organizing written work. Therapists use specialized techniques to strengthen hand muscles, improve hand-eye coordination, and develop the motor planning required for fluid writing.

Coordination & Balance Therapy

Neuromuscular Disorder Therapy

It is designed to enhance an individual’s ability to execute smooth, controlled & efficient movements. It focuses on improving both gross and fine motor skills, ensuring better balance, agility, and overall body coordination. It is useful for kids with difficulties - walking, running, or performing hand-eye coordination activities.
